Developing a concept piece for the future of tesco entertainment. With the number of formats, channels and modes of media consumption ever changing the team was tasked with developing a thought piece around catering for the future of media entertainment. Working with the tesco team and the guys at spendid and developing on their idea of the digital locker we created a system that focussed on purchasing the title and not the format.
By focussing on the the title it allows for a platform agnostic experience model. We developed cross channel interaction models to allow the media to be enjoyed no matter what the situation the user would be in. From mobile, to streaming, to good old fashioned dvd we proposed a system that allowed for interaction and collaboration around media types and individuals to enjoy the content the way they wanted to without disrupting the experience for others. A truly tailored experience.
